PICS Analyst Ratings
Bulls say
PicS is attractive because it is demonstrating faster monetization of a large ecosystem while shifting revenue toward lower-risk products, with no/low credit-risk streams rising to 71% in 2Q26 from 63% in 2Q25 and ARPAC improving strongly. The company also posted broad-based outperformance in 2Q26, including R$4.12B of revenue, R$283M of adjusted net income, and a 20% ROE, while efficiency improved to 44.8% and the credit portfolio expanded to R$31.9B with 86% of incremental growth from lower-risk loans and mature cards. Growth in engagement remains robust, as TPV reached R$167.6B, active accounts rose to 70.4M, and deposits climbed 45% y/y to R$35.8B, supporting further cross-sell and earnings compounding.
Bears say
PicS is facing deteriorating credit quality and weaker underlying profitability, with NIMAL falling 2.7ppts y/y to 12.1% and >90-day NPLs rising to 9.8% from 8.9% in 1Q26 and 4.1% in 2Q25, while management only expects the ratio to settle in the low teens by year-end. Profitability is also flattered by a concentrated tax incentive that pulled forward benefits into Q2, making adj. net income appear stronger than the core earnings trend. More broadly, the business remains exposed to Brazil-specific macro, regulatory, and governance risks, including volatility in the Brazilian Real and a controlling shareholder with 96.3% of combined voting power, which limits confidence in the durability of growth.
